Our goal is to rescue horses with special needs. We though that we can care for horses that are unwanted, or are ready to be killed due to permanent injury, chronic illness, defect, or just horses that are simply too old.
Once we rescue these special needs horses, we will divide up the property into sections where each old, disabled or injured horse can be with its own kind depending on its special needs, without risking others. Once they are divided into those special groups, we can concentrate on the appropriate care that each group requires.
However, we realize that since our current property has only five acres, we are limited to the amount of horses we can rescue, without being too crowded, and still being able to stick to the idea where the horses have enough space to roam free. (We can probably rescue up to two horses per acre). So once the space is maxed out, our goal is to get more land that will enable us to rescue more horses.
